You're not wrong, but at least a worm didn't eat a portion of my brain, no, this is ALL me. Seriously though here's what you want to know, and in no particular order, away we go!!
I love our 2nd amendment, but I do not agree everyone should have access to fire arms. We do have laws on the books to help ensure a percentage of dangerous folks do not obtain them, however the cracks in our system are vast. It will take both side of the aisle working together to comprise comprehensive yet non infringing adjustments. We do have some amazing Americans who take gun safety very seriously and unfortunately they are not showcased enough to further demonstrate proper respect for a deadly piece of equipment.
Mental health care should be a right.
We have young people in this nation who have become desensitized to violence in the worst way, causing troubling changes to the brain. We have seen what happens when someone in a compromised state of mind does to the most vulnerable, innocent. To people worshiping and just living their lives. If all Americans had access to free mental health care, and we start REALLY destigmatizing mental heath care for all, the rate of violence would go down exponentially. Poverty would slowly begin to decrease. Employment could go up.
No, a lot of problems are not going to disappear, but if we increase the chances of all Americans to thrive mentally, our nation will thrive financially.
Our taxes belong to US, American Citizens. Why are we paying for the retirement, child income tax paid monthly, free college, free healthcare, free food of another nation, when we won't even house our own veterans!? America first? How about using 99.9% of our tax dollars here at home, on American Citizens before sending ANYTHING over to another nation.
NO BAILOUTS FOR OTHER NATIONS, BIG CORPORATIONS, BILLIONAIRES OR BIG BANKS.
You want to bail out someone? You bailout our farmers from produce to dairy, you bailout our ranchers, our cattlemen. You bailout the companies that employ a big number of lower middle class, middle class people hoping to make a better life. While I understand that some major job producers in the Nation will or may need help. If we're having to pull your rear out of debt more than once or because you squandered your money, you deserve to fail.
When was the last time a billionaire helped to put food on your table. What mega corporate CEO has actually counted heads of cattle for a living, plucked in fields all day?
Mmmhhhmm, didn't think so.
Education is paramount for our nation to succeed.
While school choice works for some, it does not work for everyone. Since school choice vouchers were introduced into the system here in our fair state, $622,000.00 in esa vouchers were used for things such as vacations, lingerie, and alcohol to name the more controversial purchases.
There needs to be a focus on the state level on how to provide the best possible education our state can with the budget we have to work with. Teachers are already overwhelmingly underpaid, why must education continue to die because of greed?
Healthcare should be a right for all citizens. The only thing I have to say about funding it is, if we didn't send billions of OUR tax dollars to another nation to have what we never have, EVERY American citizen could be properly cared for and provide much greater productivity to our economy. Healthcare for all would increase employment yes, but it would also create a safety net Americans could utilize to take care of themselves so that we all could live the American dream.
FREE SCHOOL MEALS FOR ALL SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN.
No matter your income, you as a parent should never have to worry if your child will eat a good meal that day. A hot breakfast in the morning and a hot lunch can make all the difference for a student who is experiencing food poverty. Why fund a billionaire who doesn't give a rat's butt about you and would watch you starve, when you can ensure the future of nation doesn't go hungry and has the best chances at success.
TERM LIMITS!!!!
Every elected official should only be allowed to serve two to four terms for each office elected to. You want a career? Go back to school for a new one or go back to your career of origin.
Elected offices are not to be used a lifetime siphon.
